I’m Back!!

What’s going on everyone? This is the official re-launch of my blog site. I have been VERY busy since the last time I posted something here. Now we’re about to be in a new year with new experiences. I’ve been working on a mixtape entitled “Eye Declare War”, Been getting involved in new projects and staying active. So get ready for more blurbs on politics, fashion, music, entertainment, electronics and everything in between! Let’s go!

Twitter Craze!!

So after being heckled for the past year I decided to finally open a twitter account. So far, i actually kinda like it.  The crazy thing is that i think its rather stupid. All Twitter is , is just a huge site where you can update your status. And im not one of those people who is all about telling what they are doing and where im going, etc. However, it has provided me with many laughs. Kevin Hart, Lil Duval and my friends Doug and Trav make my stomach hurt with the hillarious things they post. Still not my thing but it gives you something to do when you’re bored and idle. In light of my recent entrance to Twitterdom, i posted this video below. Its kinda corny, kinda funny.. just like Twitter is. lol. Enjoy

Comedic Genius

First of all I want to apologize to all of my readers (the few of you that are left) for not posting anything since October. I have been very slack. I have been extremely busy with work as well as writing/performing and have been focused with trying to make one of Charlotte’s Slam teams. No excuse is sufficient for the time I have missed, however. I promise that I will begin making posts again on a consistent regular basis. A STAR IS BORN!!

[First let me apologize for not posting anything in over a month. I've been incredibly busy at work(I work at a Junior College) plus I have been on the road a little performing and doing shows( I am a spoken word artist).

Now I am back and have a few treats for you guys. So i'm really feeling Jay-Z"s Blueprint 3. Its about 4.5 mics in my opinion but thats another story. Anywho on track 10 entitled "A Star is Born" he features his first signee to Roc Nation named J. Cole.  J. Cole murdered his verse so lyrically and intelligently that I checked out more of his stuff on the internet and im quite impressed with his flow, style, content and overt realness.

Plus he's from the Carolinas!!! Fayetteville, North Carolina to be exact. And with me being born and raised in South Carolina and living in NC for 5 years during my middle school/high school years and now frequently visiting charlotte,  i have even greater respect for a "down south" lyricist with intelligent content. Check it out i've posted three videos to let you get a feel for his style. Be on the lookout. I  anticipate him having a Drake-esque blow-up in about 2 years. quote me

So, i just saw this video today and i think its great. People often think that they can take advantage of poets and other artists. This should definitely teach them a lesson. Check it out. .

R.I.P. Ted Kennedy

Anyone who knows me on a personal level knows that I am a fan of politics. In fact, one day I plan to become active in the political process by being elected to public office. I mean my B.A. is in Political Science!!  So basically I keep my ears and eyes to all things politic. Therefore, you can imagine how saddened I am by the lost of an American hero and one of the greatest political figures in the history of the United States Ted Kennedy. His had a way of commanding a room and a stage unlike any I have ever seen. His fierce determination set him apart from his contemporaries and made him well liked on both sides of the aisle. We would not be the country that we are today without the staunch diligence and efforts of Ted Kennedy. He will be greatly missed. Your legacy will live on

R.I.P. Aaliyah

So Yesterday August 25th marked the 8th anniversary of the death of R&B singer Aaliyah. She had 3 platinum albums and made classic hits such as “One in A Million”, “4-page letter” and “Rock the Boat” to name a few. I still remember when i heard about her passing. I honestly felt like crying. Not only was I a fan of her music but I was a fan of her personality. She was a great artist and she will forever be remembered as such. Therefore, I felt it was only right to include two my most favorite songs by her. “I Miss You” and “Rock the Boat”. Enjoy!
